Pant-y-Waun, Merthyr Tydfil. Not only has the pub disappeared but the entire village of Pant-y-waun has gone as well as the whole village became an open-cast mine, the Royal Arms Opencast in the 1960s, now filled in and the area landscaped with a new road cutting the site of the pub.
