The Star Inn at Treos, near Bridgend will be hosting a beer, cider and music festival this bank holiday weekend.The Star is famous, not just for having a thatched roof but as being the first pub ever owned by the former Crown Brewery; the United Clubs Brewery as was, in Pontyclun.
The Star, owned by brewers SA Brain nowadays will be featuring a wide selection of real ales from across the UK as well as a hog roast.

Please note that the original Beer Festival List might have some big changes as Brains allegedly couldn't (???) supply some of them, asking for a 2nd 'Wish List' to be produced by the pub. I'm still awaiting the new updated list myself to email out to others.
