Brains in running for three Publican Awards

Triple nomination for Brains

Ty Mawr, Cardiff – part of Brains’ managed estate

Wales’ leading pub operator is in the running for three of the UK pub industry’s top awards. S.A Brain and Co Ltd has been named a Publican Awards 2012 finalist in the categories of ‘Best Tenanted / Leased Pub Company (10-199 sites)’, ‘Best Managed Pub Company (10-150 sites)’, and ‘Best New Site’ for Swansea’s Grape and Olive.

Hundreds of entries were paper judged down to a shortlist of three in each category. Over the coming weeks judges will interview Brains staff and carry out mystery pub visits. Brains will then have to wait until the awards ceremony on March 27th at London’s Grosvenor House to find out if they’ve been successful.

Scott Waddington, Chief Executive at Brains, said: “We are delighted to have been acknowledged once again by the industry’s leading title. Our mission is to deliver outstanding customer experiences through the quality of our people, products and pubs, and to be shortlisted in three categories indicates that we are delivering on this.”
