This arrived in my inbox the other day - it makes a change from the Nigerian Oil scams I normally receive -this is the first Dutch-Irish-beer-football scam I have seen. Now I know it does not come from that well-known Dutch brewer and I am just publishing this piece of rubbish as a warning to others - and to give you all a good laugh.

ReplyDeleteHi, this is Alex from Brazil. I also received the e-mail above and was quite puzzled...Having talked to a lawyer friend and a student who is an specialist in bank frauds, I dedided to search for further information on Google...and BINGO: the scam was there on the first lines. At the risk of sounding very naive...can anybody tell me what the purpose of this scam is? I mean, what would they want from me?
ReplyDeleteTHANKS,
CHEERS,
Alex Kreis.
Purpose of this scam? - maybe to identify a working email account then that info gets passed on to even more spammers?
