Wish I could have seen it. Thank you so much for the photo :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06258154495354543100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789818545139773561.post-51318024224693535312018-11-19T13:40:37.208+00:002018-11-19T13:40:37.208+00:00My great aunt Josie and Stan run it for many years...My great aunt Josie and Stan run it for many years during the 70s and 80s.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14869855587944064164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789818545139773561.post-47994150996753595742013-08-09T17:01:09.812+01:002013-08-09T17:01:09.812+01:00One of the last landladies was a club singer. Unfortunately he got cancer, and became terminally ill. His dying wish was to play a Shadows tune live on TV, and it was arranged. I saw him playing, a very moving performance, and he died a few days later. I miss the pubs around the end of the docks. The Custom House, Glendower, Crown, Glastonbury, Fishguard, Salutation, the Golden Cross as it used to be, and of course the Vulcan.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789818545139773561.post-41878309562957045492011-01-13T21:03:13.387+00:002011-01-13T21:03:13.387+00:00Such a shame.
